1) Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris Saint-Germain)

33 now and heading towards the end of his career, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been one of the finest strikers of his generation, and it would be fantastic to see him finally try his luck in the Premier League, having already played almost everywhere else in Europe!

2) Francesco Totti (AS Roma)

A player who will almost certainly never leave AS Roma until he finally retires, 37-year-old Francesco Totti is still one of the best players in Serie A and many top clubs would dream of having him, particularly English football fans.

3) Xavi (Barcelona)

One of the best playmakers of all time, Xavi has spent his entire career so far with Barcelona, but will probably be leaving at the end of this season. A move to England seems unlikely, but it sure would be great to get even the briefest of glimpses as this midfield genius before he calls it a day.

4) Iker Casillas (Real Madrid)

One of the finest goalkeepers ever to play the game, Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas looks somewhat past his best now and may be about to be replaced at the Bernabeu, though many would still welcome getting the chance to see him play on these shores.

5) Miroslav Klose (Lazio)

A legend for his World Cup exploits, 36-year-old German striker Miroslav Klose is surely into his final career with Lazio and still looks a player who could do the business in a league as competitive as the English top flight.

6) Antonio Di Natale (Udinese)

A ridiculous late bloomer, Udinese striker Antonio Di Natale has really burst into form in his late 30s and would be another fine buy for any Premier League club even now at the age of 37.
