After being dominated for much of the first half, Santa Fe have enjoyed the better chances of the second period and deserve their goal. It could prove to vital in the second leg, with the Copa Libertadores operating the same away goals rule as all the major European competitions.

Santa Fe are fifth in the Colombian top flight with only one game remaining. The top eight will go into the post-season playoffs. If they win this tie it means they could end playing four games in a week later this month.
