Some of squad were given an extended break during the week, so it will be interesting to see what side Jose Mourinho puts out against a Reds outfit that are still aiming to finish in the top-four.

With that being said, take a look at how we think the Blues will line-up:

GK) Petr Cech

As the title is already in the bag, Mourinho could slightly rotate his side and that could offer the Czech international the chance to make only his seventh Premier League appearance of the season.

RB) Branislav Ivanovic

In the PFA Team of the Year and deservedly so after such an impressive season for the Blues, he has fond memories of playing against Liverpool after scoring the winner in the Capital One Cup semi-final second leg when the two side’s met in January.

CB) John Terry

The Chelsea captain has been a rock at the heart of the Blues defence this season and is always one the first names on the team-sheet. His leadership will be important to ensure the rest of the side don’t lose focus.

CB) Gary Cahill

Alongside Terry, the England defender looks a much better player and the two will be looking to keep a fifth clean sheet in the last six games that they have started together.

LB) Cesar Azpilicueta

The Spanish full-back has been such a consistent performer throughout the campaign and was unfortunate not to be named in the PFA Team of the Year. He has fended off competition from summer signing Felipe Luis and will get the nod yet again.

MC) Kurt Zouma

With Liverpool likely to throw men forward as they look for the victory to stay in the hunt for a top-four finish, it would be no surprise if Mourinho hands the young Frenchman a start in a midfield role in order to give further protection to the back-four.

MC) Nemanja Matic

Another player named in the PFA Team of the Year, although his form has somewhat dipped in the last few weeks, he is such a key player in games likes this given his considerable power in the engine room.

AMC) Cesc Fabregas

The Spaniard will be on a high after wining his first Premier League title last week and the inclusion of Zouma in that defensive role will give the 28-year-old the license to cause havoc further up the pitch.

AMR) Willian

One of Mourinho’s favourite players it seems as the energy the Brazilian offers down the right-hand side is crucial to the tactical plan of the Portuguese manager.

AML) Eden Hazard

The PFA Player of the Year scored the goal last weekend against Crystal Palace to clinch the title for the Blues and will be on the look out to add to his 14 league goals this season.

ST) Loic Remy

Remy is now fit-again after returning to the bench against Palace last week and will be looking to recapture the form that saw him score two in two before being struck down with an injury that caused him to miss three of last four games.
