The Stade Rennais forward has been heavily linked with a switch to Anfield this summer, with Brendan Rodgers believed to be a major admirer of his talents.

Indeed, the 22-year-old has impressed again in the French top flight this season, scoring nine goals and contributing five assists in 33 Ligue 1 appearances.

The rumour mill has linked him heavily with a switch to Anfield, with L’Equipe reporting that he visited Liverpool’s Melwood training complex last week.

The forward has denied those suggestions, but he is still believed to be in the considerations of Rodgers and the Reds’ transfer panel ahead of a potential summer move.

However, if the Merseyside giants are to get their man, they may need to move quickly.

According to Le 10 Sport, French giants Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in the forward and are keen to bring him to the Parc des Princes.

While Liverpool could offer the forward the chance to play in the Premier League, PSG could offer him Champions League football and are comfortably in a position to compete with the Reds financially.

It’s easy to see why both clubs are interested in the fleet-footed attacker, who is a menacing offensive threat. He is also versatile, and would be an option for both clubs on ether flank or down the middle as a central striker.
