1) Petr Cech (Chelsea to Arsenal)

With Petr Cech presumably keen to get his future resolved quickly, it could well be that the Chelsea goalkeeper’s proposed move to Arsenal could be one of the early deals of the summer, and undoubtedly one of the biggest stories.

2) Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton to Arsenal)

A move that has seemingly been in the works for some time, Morgan Schneiderlin looks likely to quit Southampton and Arsenal will want to ensure they have that defensive midfield position sorted before pre-season starts.

3) Raheem Sterling (Liverpool to Manchester United)

A saga Liverpool will hope not to drag out for too long, it could well be that the club will allow Raheem Sterling to join bitter rivals Manchester United after the Red Devils emerged as surprise favourites for the England winger.

4) Alexandre Lacazette (Lyon to Chelsea)

A player keen to push through a move to a bigger club, it seems likely that Chelsea will be quick about their transfer business as they were last summer.

5) Pedro (Barcelona to Liverpool)

With Sterling on his way out, Liverpool will want to have a replacement lined up and they are reportedly one of the clubs in for Barcelona winger Pedro. For £7m, what more is there to think about?

6) David de Gea (Manchester United to Real Madrid)

A move that seems ever more likely, United will want to get David de Gea’s exit done and dusted so they can think about signing a replacement quickly and avoid the distraction for the length of the summer.

7) Hugo Lloris (Tottenham Hotspur to Manchester United)

Although Tottenham will surely play hard-ball, Hugo Lloris is supposely keen on Champions League football and it may be hard to prevent him moving to Old Trafford if they show an interest after de Gea moves.

8) Karim Benzema (Real Madrid to Arsenal)

A rumour growing in strength, it seems that Arsene Wenger is desperate to wrap up a deal to sign Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema, a needed signing for next season.

9) John Stones (Everton to Manchester City)

With homegrown talent and defenders urgently needed, Manchester City will have to move fast to beat Chelsea to the signing of Everton and England starlet John Stones.

10) Angel Di Maria (Manchester United to Bayern Munich)

A player who seems unhappy and likely to leave, Angel Di Maria is wanted by Bayern Munich and may be allowed to make way quickly as United already have a deal wrapped up for Memphis Depay as an ideal replacement.
