Arsenal’s XI for 2015/16 with rumours that South American duo transfers are a done deal

Arsenal may already have two or three of their summer signings done and dusted according to some reports, so here’s a look at how the Gunners will line up next season if the speculation is true…

GK: Petr Cech

With Arsenal widely tipped as favourites to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech, there’s every chance the Czech Republic international will be lining up as number one for the Gunners next season.

DR: Hector Bellerin

Still first choice after a great breakthrough season, Spanish starlet Hector Bellerin remains at right-back for Arsene Wenger’s side.

DL: Nacho Monreal

Another Spaniard who’s impressed for Arsenal this season, Nacho Monreal takes the left-back slot ahead of Kieran Gibbs.

DC: Gabriel

Perhaps set to be first choice next season, Gabriel could be a fine long-term replacement for Per Mertesacker, who has looked past his best at times this term.

DC: Laurent Koscielny

Still first choice at the back, Laurent Koscielny should remain one of Arsenal’s most important players next season.

MC: Francis Coquelin

A superb youngster who has been brilliant this season, Francis Coquelin has more than earned the chance to stay first choice in Arsenal’s midfield.

MC: Arturo Vidal

In a hugely exciting move, Arturo Vidal looks set to sign for Arsenal from Juventus and should become first choice alongside Coquelin.

AMR: Alexis Sanchez

After a memorable first season for Arsenal, Alexis Sanchez will surely remain a key performer and regular starter on the clubs right flank.

AML: Santi Cazorla

Moving to a more advanced position, Santi Cazorla should start more games on the left after Vidal’s introduction in the team’s midfield.

AMC: Mesut Ozil

Playing in the number ten role, Mesut Ozil should start for Arsenal just behind the main striker after some improved form this season.

FC: Jackson Martinez

Finally, Jackson Martinez is now widely expected to come in up front for the Gunners and looks a superb upgrade on Olivier Giroud in that role.
