Vidal was previously valued at around £40m by the Italian giants, but is now available for a cut-price fee believed to be in the region of £28.4m, a real bargain for a player of his quality.

Arsenal look to be leading the chase for his signature this summer as Arsene Wenger eyes strengthening in that part of the pitch, and the Daily Star still tips them as favourites to prize him away from Juve.

Arsenal have spent big on more high-profile players in recent years, and £28.4m will surely not seem too much for the Gunners to spend on a midfielder of this proven quality.

Wenger’s side have been linked with a number of other big-name midfielders this summer, and recent reports say Vidal will join the club after competing in the Copa America.
