Liverpool transfer news

1) Mario Balotelli (Liverpool)

Signed for £16m last summer, Mario Balotelli almost looked like a fairly good deal for Liverpool, but there’s no doubt now that the Italian enigma will surely leave for a fraction of that price as the Reds look to offload him.

2) Samir Nasri (Manchester City)

Signed for around £25m from Arsenal, it’s fair to say Samir Nasri hasn’t really done it in a Manchester City shirt and needs to be shown the door, though he’d surely fetch less than half that now.

3) Robin van Persie (Manchester United)

A risky signing from Arsenal, Robin van Persie cost around £24m when he was approaching 30 and had a bad record with injuries. It is now said he would go for just £11m this summer.

4) Nani (Manchester United)

Signed for close to £20m, Nani started brightly but faded at Manchester United and is now surely set to leave this summer, with £10m a realistic fee for the Portuguese flop.

5) Dejan Lovren (Liverpool)

An awful signing by Liverpool, Dejan Lovren has totally flopped since his £20m move from Southampton, and now barely looks worth £5m.

6) Juan Cuadrado (Chelsea)

Signed for around £23m in January, Juan Cuadrado looked a bargain for Chelsea, but he has been unable to break into the team since then. A cut-price move this summer could be on the cards for the Colombian international.

7) Radamel Falcao (AS Monaco)

A £50m signing by AS Monaco, Radamel Falcao now wants out of the club and may fetch only £20m or so now after an awful season on loan at Manchester United.

8) Erik Lamela (Tottenham Hotspur)

Tottenham’s record signing, £30m man Erik Lamela’s value has surely halved if not worse in his time at White Hart Lane.

9) Edin Dzeko (Manchester City)

A player who has never really looked worth the £27m Man City paid for him, Edin Dzeko has been linked with an £8m exit from the club this summer, with the likes of Stoke City supposedly interested.
