10) Petr Cech (Chelsea to Arsenal)

Despite doing the rounds for some time now, rumours emerged this week that Chelsea had given the green light for Petr Cech to move to a Premier League rival. Arsenal are still believed to be leading the chase, but it’s hard to believe the Blues would be so unwise as to strengthen a major title rival so considerably when there will surely be offers from abroad.

9) Isco (Real Madrid to Manchester City)

Linked once again with a move to Manchester City, Real Madrid playmaker Isco is still wanted by his old manager at Malaga, Manuel Pellegrini. Still, having failed to sign him before, and with City hardly in need of attacking midfielders, this looks like another fanciful story.

8) Karim Benzema (Real Madrid to Manchester United)

A player who makes the papers a lot in terms of transfer speculation, but would Real Madrid really sell a player as good as Karim Benzema? Unless a world class striker like Sergio Aguero comes in up front, the Spanish giants will surely do all they can to prevent the prolific Frenchman leaving.

7) Arturo Vidal (Juventus to Arsenal)

Linked again with Arsenal, Arturo Vidal is apparently going nowhere according to Juventus. And in fairness, why would he? The Chilean could lift the Champions League trophy tonight and make it a superb treble with the all-conquering Italian giants…a level of success Arsenal can only dream of right now.

6) Gonzalo Higuain (Napoli to Arsenal)

Arsenal aiming high again here, but Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain looks a tad expensive for the north Londoners, who missed out on his signature back in 2013.

5) Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton to Manchester United)

An ideal signing in midfield for Manchester United, Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin seems likely to be on the move this summer, though Arsenal have long been linked as favourites.

4) Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid to Chelsea)

In another raid on Atletico Madrid, Chelsea want to sign French goal machine Antoine Griezmann this summer. Although expensive, the Blues do tend to get the players they want.

3) Christian Benteke (Aston Villa to Chelsea)

An ideal signing to replace Didier Drogba up front, Christian Benteke is also on Chelsea’s radar and would be available for £32.5m due to a buy-out clause in his contract. Very possible.

2) Douglas Costa (Shakhtar Donetsk to Chelsea)

A move that has been on the cards for some time, several sources suggest Chelsea have moved closer to signing Shakhtar Donetsk winger Douglas Costa, who has been talking up the club and manager Jose Mourinho.

1) Danny Ings (Burnley to Liverpool)

Finally, a deal we fully expect to come to fruition before long, Danny Ings is close to joining Liverpool after they raided Burnley for the exciting young striker, who would definitely give the Reds more options in a problem position.
