The opening weekend sees reigning champions Santos Laguna welcome Club Leon, the Clausura SuperLider Tigres UANL host Toluca, and the famous Club America face the short trip to Puebla.

League newcomers Dorados de Sinaloa – who are playing in the top flight for the first time since 2006 – will play Chiapas.

The Super Clasico between America and Chivas is scheduled for 29th September, while the Clásico Capitalino between Pumas and America will take place on the final day of the regular season. Tigres will play Monterrey at El Volcan in the Clasico Regio on 19th September, and the Guadalajara derby between Atlas and Chivas (the Clasico Tapatio) has been slated for the 23rd October.

The top eight finishers in the regular season will go into the post-season playoffs, with the champion being determined shortly before Christmas.
