Manchester United rumours

Manchester United look set to carry on where they left off last summer after recent reports link them with two big signings from Spanish giants Real Madrid.

The Red Devils are possibly set to spend as much as £65m on the two Bernabeu stars, and are also looking at other big names from around Europe in an attempt to strengthen their perceived weak areas.

If reports are to be believed, these four players could be joining the club this summer in total deals worth roughly £110m:

1) Sergio Ramos (Real Madrid)

A £35m target from Madrid, Sergio Ramos would be an absolutely ideal signing in defence. The Spanish international is a world class centre-back who has won everything there is to win in the game, and he’d surely settle well in England.

2) Karim Benzema (Real Madrid)

Linked with a £30m move to United, Karim Benzema is another Real star who could join the Red Devils this summer in an exciting buy up front. The prolific Frenchman would certainly be a big upgrade on Robin van Persie in attack.

3) Morgan Schneiderlin (Southampton)

For around £25m, United are also being tipped to beat Arsenal to the signing of Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, fixing yet another of the team’s problem positions with a fine move.

4) Seamus Coleman (Everton)

Finally, another £20m could go on bringing in attack-minded Everton right-back Seamus Coleman this summer as LVG plans to improve on the likes of Antonio Valencia and Rafael in that part of the pitch.
