10) Karim Benzema – £30m

Arsenal need to add a world class striker to their squad in order to challenge for the Premier League title next season and a £30m offer to Real Madrid for French forward Benzema could be the key.

9) Christian Benteke – £32.5m

Liverpool and Manchester United are in the market for a new striker and both have been linked with the Aston Villa man who scored 13 league goals last season.

Villa remain insistent that any potential suitor will have to activate Benteke’s £32.5m release clause.

8) Harry Kane – £40m

Following a stunning breakthrough season last year, Tottenham are prepared for interest in their prized asset increase this summer and have slapped a huge £40m price-tag on Kane’s head in an attempt to keep him from the clutches of Manchester United.

7) Sergio Ramos – £40m

The Real Madrid vice-captain emerged as a surprise transfer target for Manchester United earlier in the summer as the latter look to strengthen their defensive options ahead of the new season.

A £28.6m bid has already been rejected, but a offer closer to £40m could be accepted.

6) Raheem Sterling – £50m

The unsettled Liverpool winger looks set to depart Anfield this summer and has strongly been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Manchester City, who have already had two offers rejected.

A third bid is expected, although it will need to match the £50m valuation that has been set by the Reds.

5) Angel Di Maria – £55m

After signing for Manchester United for a club record fee of £59.7m last summer, Di Maria has struggled to adapt to the Barclays Premier League and could be on the market during the current transfer window, although United would be hoping to recuperate a huge chunk of the fee they paid for the Argentine.

4) Thomas Muller – £60m

Manchester United are on the market for a new striker as Robin van Persie’s departure to Fenerbahce is at an advanced stage. German international Muller has been linked as a potential replacement and an offer of £60m could land the underrated forward this summer.

3) Gonzalo Higuain – £67m

Linked with Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool, Gonzalo Higuain can leave Napoli this summer, but only for his £67m release clause, which looks a bit much for the inconsistent Argentine.

2) Paul Pogba – £71m

The Frenchman is in-demand this summer following three superb seasons in Serie A with Juventus. A host of top European clubs including Man City, Chelsea and Barcelona are fighting for the midfielder’s signature, but he will cost at least £71m.

1) Gareth Bale – £100m

If any club is interested in signing the Welsh winger, who has enjoyed mixed success in Spain since arriving from Tottenham in 2013, then it’s likely to take a huge three figure sum to persuade Real Madrid into doing business, with Manchester United and Chelsea both said to be admirers.
