Arsenal transfers: Gunners to splash the cash on £74.4m Bundesliga attacking duo, including Man Utd target

Gunners step up chase for Bundesliga attackers.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could be about to dip into his transfer kitty and spend a whopping £74.4m on two Bundesliga stars this summer, according to reports.

The Gunners look in need of some truly world class additions up front ahead of the new season, with the likes of Olivier Giroud and Danny Welbeck clearly not good enough to inspire the club to a title win against reigning champions Chelsea.

Arsenal have been quiet this summer, signing only Petr Cech in goal, but rumour has it they are now ready to spend big on this exciting duo:

1) Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund)

Worth around £30m, Arsenal are reportedly in talks with Borussia Dortmund over the possible signing of pacey Gabon international winger/forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who would no doubt be an upgrade on players like Welbeck or Theo Walcott in a wide-striker role.

2) Robert Lewandowski (Bayern Munich)

In another hugely ambitious deal, Arsenal are also said to be chasing the signing of Bayern Munich striker and Manchester United target Robert Lewandowski in a £44.7m deal, in what would represent a major statement of intent from the Gunners.
