Liverpool transfer news: 3 in, 3 out as Reds replace dead wood with £74m trio, including Man Utd target

Liverpool transfer news – further changes expected!

Liverpool could be set to make even more big changes to their squad in this busy summer transfer window, with rumours that manager Brendan Rodgers could spend around £74m on three new signings.

Meanwhile, three unwanted first-teamers are also likely to be on their way out of Anfield in the next few weeks, with these the changes expected at the club:

Out – Mario Balotelli

Surely set for a quick exit from Liverpool, Mario Balotelli has been a spectacular flop on Merseyside and is likely to return to Italy.

In – Marco Reus

Linked with a stunning £46m move, Marco Reus could leave Borussia Dortmund this summer and Liverpool seem to be leading the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal in the race for his signature.

Out – Rickie Lambert

After a poor first season at Liverpool, Rickie Lambert is looking almost certain to be offloaded as clubs like Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion show an interest.

In – Mateo Kovacic

Valued at around £18m, Inter Milan midfielder Mateo Kovacic is a long-term target for the Reds and could be brought in to replace Steven Gerrard this summer.

Out – Fabio Borini

Linked with Lazio and Fiorentina, Fabio Borini is another Liverpool outcast looking set to be shown the door in this transfer window after failing to impress.

In – Lucas Digne

Worth around £10m, PSG left-back Lucas Digne has recently emerged as a top target for Rodgers as he eyes an upgrade on Alberto Moreno.
