Following their victory over Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea take on Barcelona in the pre-season International Champions Cup tournament.

GK – Thibaut Courtois

The Belgium stopper threatened Eden Hazard’s position as penalty taker with an unstoppable strike in the shoot-out against Paris Saint-Germain, and is set for his first start of pre-season.

LB – Cesar Azpilicueta

Along with Ivanovic, the Spaniard must be one of the first names on Jose Mourinho’s team-sheet.

CB – John Terry

All eyes will be on the Blues skipper next season following a stunning title-winning campaign at the age of 34, and he’ll want the best preparation this summer.

CB – Gary Cahill

Mourinho’s first-choice partnership next season will surely be Cahill and Terry, despite competition from Kurt Zouma.

RB – Branislav Ivanovic

Chelsea have two of the finest full-backs in Europe with Ivanovic and Azpilicueta.

LCM – Nemanja Matic

Despite being a pre-season friendly, Matic will need to be at his best against Barca’s intimidating midfield – not to mention striker Luis Suarez.

RCM – Ramires

The Brazilian’s playing time is likely to be limited next season with so much competition, but with so much energy to offer in the centre of the park, he could remain key to Mourinho.

AM – Oscar

While speculation about his future at Stamford Bridge has been ongoing, it seems Mourinho has no wish to sell the Brazil playmaker.

LW – Eden Hazard

There has been plenty of talk over the past few days in comparing the Belgium winger to Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, and, as always, he’ll be aiming to cause havoc to the Barca defence.

ST – Diego Costa

It’s expected that Costa will start ahead of Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao, as he still looks to remain Mourinho’s first-choice centre-forward – though Falcao was impressive on his debut.

RW – Willian

Juan Cuadrado looks set to watch on from the substitutes bench, as Willian pips him to a starting place once more.
