Arsenal now look set to spend their way out of trouble after a quiet summer, and these three players are believed to be Arsene Wenger’s main targets:

1) Karim Benzema (Real Madrid)

One of the best strikers in the world, Real Madrid star Karim Benzema looks close to completing a move to the Emirates Stadium for a club-record deal of £45m. The French international would undoubtedly be a superb addition up front, despite falling out of favour at the Bernabeu.

2) Julian Draxler (Schalke)

In a move worth roughly £21m, Arsenal want to rival Juventus for the signing of Schalke and Germany starlet Julian Draxler, who has been linked with the club in the past after some exciting displays in the Bundesliga.

3) Grzegorz Krychowiak (Sevilla)

Finally, Arsenal want to try another raid on La Liga for the signing of Sevilla’s powerful Polish midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, who’d be an ideal buy at £22m to solve the Gunners’ midfield problems this summer.
