Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor wants transfer to London club, Crystal Palace & Hammers on alert

Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor has alerted a number of London clubs in the Barclays Premier League to his availability during the current transfer window, Mail Sport reports.

The Togolese target man had been linked with a move to Aston Villa last week in a bid to be reunited with former Spurs boss Tim Sherwood, but that switch broke down over suggestions that he prefers to remain in the capital.

Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has made it abundantly clear that Adebayor is not in his pans for the new season after failing to allocate the striker a squad number for the campaign and it appears if the 31-year-old does depart White Hart Lane before the transfer window closes, it will be to one of their city rivals.

However, with Arsenal unlikely to re-sign the player and Chelsea already well-stocked in that department, it leaves West Ham, who were interested in the forward during the January transfer window, or Crystal Palace as potential destinations for Adebayor.
