Tottenham confident they will sign £20m Premier League forward

Tottenham are confident that a £20m bid will land them West Brom forward Saido Berahino according to the Daily Telegraph.

The White Hart Lane side have finally sold Roberto Soldado, albeit for a £10m fee that is some way below the £26m they paid for the Spaniard two years ago, and Mauricio Pochettino hopes to bring in Baggies youngster Berahino to boost his Spurs attack.

Wily chairman Daniel Levy will put in an opening £15m bid for the 22-year-old England hopeful and will see if West Brom take the bait.

The Hawthorns side recently broke their club transfer record to land Venezuelan Salomon Rondon and Tony Pulis has also brought in veteran Rickie Lambert from Liverpool, leaving many to assume that West Brom are resigned to losing Berahino this summer.
