Manchester City v Chelsea: Twitter reacts as John Terry subbed off at half time

GK) Asmir Begovic, 8

One of the only players to come out of the game with any credit, the ‘keeper stopped the scoreline from being any more embarrassing.

RB) Branislav Ivanovic, 2

Was torn apart by Raheem Sterling throughout the match, looking a shell of the player he was last season.

LB) Cesar Azpilicueta, 6

Started off poorly, but was able to get himself together while those around him were failing.

CB) John Terry, 3

Looked completely off the pace before being taken off, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he was substituted for a poor performance rather than an injury.

CB) Gary Cahill, 4

Not much better than his captain, and was taken apart by Aguero throughout.
