The Brazilian winger confirmed his season-long loan to the Trotters on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old joined Arsenal in 2011, but was only granted a work permit four years after his arrival.

3. Arsenal target Krychowiak could leave, admits Sevilla team-mate
Sevilla midfielder Vicente Iborra has confessed his concerns that team-mate Grzegorz Krychowiak could leave the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium before the close of the summer window, amid reports suggesting Arsenal are interested in his signature.
Of course I’m concerned that Krychowiak could be taken away,’ said Iborra.
‘I always want to have the best players in the team. He brings so much so I hope he stays.
‘I understand Sevilla’s position, it is clear. I hope nobody pays the clause and he stays with us.’

Paris Saint-Germain, according to the Daily Star, have told Arsenal that Edinson Cavani will cost £35million, suggesting that the Ligue 1 giants could be open to selling the Uruguayan this month.
