Juventus in transfer discussion with French giants for two players including ex-QPR wideman

Italian champions Juventus are in advanced negotiations with Marseille over the sales of Mauricio Isla and Paolo De Ceglie.

Chilean defender Isla spent last season on loan at Queens Park Rangers, and while his class was evident on occasion, he failed to help the Hoops avoid relegation to the second tier.

The 27-year-old looks set to be transferred to the Stade Velodrome along with left-sided defender De Ceglie, who has made over 100 appearances for Juventus.

However, the 28-year-old has never truly made the grade with the Old Lady, and has spent time out on loan with the likes of Siena, Genoa and Parma.

The two players are expected to be loaned, according to L’Equipe, with OM retaining an option to buy.

By contrast, while the Phoceens are set to secure the signings of the two versatile defenders, they are likely to miss out on Simone Zaza.
