DONE DEAL: Real Madrid complete signing of Manchester United goalkeeper

Liga BBVA giants Real Madrid have completed the signing of David De Gea from Manchester United.

News of this deal was announced via Sky Sports official Twitter account on Monday evening and Kaylor Navas is poised to move to Old Trafford as he has been included as makeweight in this transfer.

De Gea had been linked with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu for the whole summer transfer window and the saga has now finally come to an end following the breaking news.

The 24-year-old will become the third player to leave Old Trafford today after Adnan Januzaj completed a season-long loan move to Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund and Mexican striker Javier Hernandez signed for Bayer Leverkusen on a permanent basis.

Following De Gea’s arrival in Manchester from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2011, he initially struggled to adapt to the physicality of English football, however, his form would soon improve and he was voted as the club’s Player of the Year for the past two seasons.
