Louis van Gaal is DESTROYING Man Utd: More chaos as Angel Di Maria blames boss for his exit

Di Maria sticks the knife in after disastrous summer.

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Angel Di Maria has hit out at his old Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal, blaming him for his poor form and exit from Old Trafford.

The Argentine international was made United’s record signing last year after a move from Real Madrid, but failed to settle in the Premier League due to a number of factors.

Still, Van Gaal has now been pinned down as the main reason for his wanting to leave the club so soon.

“Van Gaal has his philosophy and this was one of the reasons that made me want to leave United,” he is quoted on ESPN radio.

“It’s difficult to adapt to Van Gaal. I had a couple of rifts with him.

“I started very well there but got injured.

“Things were not coming off and Van Gaal was changing my position.

“I spoke to Laurent Blanc and his thinking was to play me in a similar position to what I played at Real Madrid.”

These quotes come after a hectic-looking deadline day, with United managing to mess up the sale of David de Gea to Real Madrid, meaning he will surely leave on a free next summer, while the Red Devilds are also hugely overpaying to sign Anthony Martial from Monaco.
