Man Utd ‘aim to solve squad weaknesses with £106m deadline day spree’, Arsenal & Chelsea targets could sign

Man Utd could pull off amazing late swoop.

Manchester United are possibly ready to spend as much as £106m on transfer deadline day in an attempt to solve their squad weaknesses, according to various recent reports.

The Red Devils have had a frustrating summer in the transfer market, and still look in need of investment as we head into the final hours of the transfer window.

Although it remains to be seen if United can get all three of these deals done in time, these are the players the club need to build a potential title-winning team:

1) Anthony Martial (AS Monaco)

Set to join United in a £36m move, AS Monaco striker Anthony Martial may be overpriced, but is still a top young talent who will add pace and goals to the Reds’ attack this season.

2) Lucas Biglia (Lazio)

Linked with a £30m move to Old Trafford at various points this summer, Lazio star Lucas Biglia would probably be an upgrade on the struggling Bastian Schweinsteiger in midfield, though the tough-tackling Argentine has also been tracked by Arsenal.

3) John Stones (Everton)

Finally, in a deal that would cost around £40m, United could try a late bid to sign Everton centre-back John Stones, who was heavily linked with Chelsea before they instead opted to sign Papy Djilobodji.
