1) Edinson Cavani (PSG)
Still firmly on Arsenal’s agenda this January, Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani would be the ideal big-name buy up front for the Gunners, and rumour has it he’s unsettled at the Parc des Princes.

2) Mauro Icardi (Inter Milan)
One of the most lethal young strikers in Europe, Inter Milan front-man Mauro Icardi is a huge talent and has been linked with big clubs like Chelsea in the past. Arsenal are now interested in the Argentine and would certainly benefit from his ability up front.
3) Karim Benzema (Real Madrid)
Linked with Arsenal throughout the summer, Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is another big name targeted by Arsene Wenger up front, though it remains to be seen if he can be persuaded to leave the Bernabeu.
4) Simone Zaza (Juventus)
Out of favour at Juventus, Simone Zaza was linked with Arsenal on deadline day and remains on their radar ahead of January, having impressed greatly at his previous club Sassuolo.
