Real Madrid ‘rival Arsenal & Man Utd for signing of Bayern Munich midfielder’

La Liga giants looking into raid for experienced Bayern star.

Real Madrid are looking into signing Bayern Munich defensive midfielder Javi Martinez, a former target for the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United.

The Spanish international is an experienced and versatile player capable of doing a job as a deep-lying midfield playmaker or even as a centre-back, where he has often been used since moving to Bayern.

Real are looking into improving their options and the depth of their squad this January, and Martinez is seemingly on Rafael Benitez’s radar, according to Fichajes.com.
