Manchester United battle Premier League rivals for signing of 18-year-old wonderkid

Reds up against rivals for signing of superbly talented teenager.

Manchester United are in a fight with Newcastle United and other clubs in the pursuit of highly-rated Newport County forward Aaron Collins.

The 18-year-old is an exciting young striker with plenty of potential, and has caught the eye in the lower leagues after making it into County’s first-team.

United initially looked at Collins in the summer transfer window as they signed his old team-mate Regan Poole, and they could now be back again to try and lure this top talent to Old Trafford as well, according to the Metro.

As well as United and Newcastle, Championship side Burnley are reportedly in contention for the Welshman’s signature as well this January.
