Former Everton man Rooney paid his respects to Howard Kendall, who passed away earlier on Saturday.

Kendall spent eight years at Goodison Park as a player and then managed Everton for three spells and helped the Merseyside outfit to domestic and continental success.

Great performance to get back to winning ways today. It was sad news to hear about Howard Kendall this morning, condolences to all his family.
