Man United boss Louis van Gaal insistent on sealing Harry Kane transfer

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is reportedly still insisting that his side complete a deal to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane in the January transfer window, according to the Metro.

The 22-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford throughout the summer, only for Kane to publicly denounce the deal to remain committed to Spurs (via Metro).

But now a report in beIN Sports (via Calciomercato) claims that van Gaal still has his heart set on signing the England international and following through on his promise of leaving a talented crop of young players for his successor.

However, despite Kane’s struggles in front of goal this term, the Metro claim that it would still take a substantial offer to prize him away from White Heart Lane.
