Stats show Manchester United have the best dribbler in the Premier League

Week after week Anthony Martial continues to silence his doubters with his play on the field through some form of football excellence, be it scoring or footwork. Now the Manchester United wonderkid can add dominant ball control to his improving skills.

According to stats from the Metro, the French striker has recorded back-to-back Premier League games with seven dribbles – something no one on the team was able to do at all in the 2014-15 season.

Sky Sports reported that Martial even leads the Premier League with 7.8 successful dribbles per 90 minutes. Martial’s two closest runner-ups, Jefferson Montero and Wilfried Zaha, both trail with 7.6.

Martial, who Man United acquired in a highly-controversial last-minute transfer from AS Monaco in the largest transfer deal ever for a teenager, was quick to show fans and foes alike exactly how good he.

In his first two Premier League matches, Martial scored three goals. With two more goals between the Champions League and the League Cup, Martial has five total goals on the season in just nine total appearances – less than a third the number of matches it took Cristiano Ronaldo to tally the same number of goals for Man United.
