Ronaldo opens door to Real Madrid exit; Manchester United & PSG on alert

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has dropped a major hint that he is open to the prospect of leaving the Bernabeu.

Speaking to FHM magazine [as per Le 10 Sport], the Portuguese superstar had the following to say about a potential exit from the Spanish capital.

“I don’t close the door to any championship or any place,” he confirmed, in a statement that will surely fuel increased rumours of an exit from the Spanish capital.

His comments come soon after an interview with German source Kicker, in which Ronaldo also indicated that he was not completely committed to Los Merengues.

“Can I imagine leaving Real one day?” he began. “For now, I play for Real Madrid, but you never know. You should do what makes you happy.

“Nobody knows what will happen tomorrow.”

Paris Saint-Germain have made little secret of their desire to bring Ronaldo to the French capital as they seek a high-profile player to replace the ageing Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

A conversation between PSG coach Laurent Blanc and Ronaldo after the Champions League clash between the two clubs on Tuesday, has further increased the suggestion that the forward will be on his way to Ligue 1 at the end of this campaign.

However, the prospect of a return to Manchester United has also been raised, with Ronaldo’s friend Jose Semedo, as well as Spanish pundit Guillem Balague both expressing their belief that the forward would end his career with his beloved Red Devils.
