Man United make approach for Valencia winger Sofiane Feghouli

Manchester United have reportedly made an initial approach to sign talented Valencia winger Sofiane Feghouli, according to the Metro.

The 25-year-old is now in the final year of his contract at the Mestalla, but has so far yet to agree a new deal to prolong it (via Metro).

And now a report in Italian publication Corriere dello Sport claims that the Red Devils are looking to take advantage of his situation by launching an initial approach for the Algerian international.

Feghouli would be clear to sign a pre-contract agreement with an overseas club from January onwards, though the Metro is also reporting that both Tottenham and Inter Milan are interested in the player and could provide United with some stern competition.

Feghouli has been a largely peripheral figure for the La Liga side so far this term, chalking up 10 appearances for his club across all competitions, scoring three goals in the process (via WhoScored).
