PSG transfers: Six players we’d LOVE to see in the Premier League, with returning Chelsea star & Golden Boy at Man United

After an 18-year Ligue 1 title drought, Paris Saint-Germain finally put all the pieces together in the 2012-13 season to win the French football title and haven’t looked back since. With three straight Ligue 1 wins and an additional six national trophies, the French giants have turned into one of the most dominant clubs in all of Europe.

With former Premier League and La Liga stars like David Luiz, Angel Di Maria and Zlatan playing some of the best football of their respective careers in France, PSG appear on track to win yet another Ligue 1 title this season.

Naturally, PSG’s dominance means that someone in the Premier League is going to do everything possible to plunder that talent pool to give their own English title chances a major boost, and with the January transfer window just around the corner, and Premier League teams inevitably primed to get their piggy banks out, those hungry teams just might get their shots.

Here are six PSG players we’d love to see in the Premier League in January. Could any of these PSG transfers go through this summer?

David Luiz to Chelsea

If it saves his club from falling apart, Roman Abramovich would likely sell one of his own kidneys to buy back the Brazilian stopper he sold for a record fee.

Adrien Rabiot to Manchester United

Louis van Gaal already struck gold with one French youngster (Anthony Martial), so it’d be interesting to see if he can go two-for-two with one of Martial’s fellow Golden Boy candidates. Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal have already been linked to the youngster.

Ezequiel Lavezzi to Liverpool

The PSG star could help Jurgen Klopp fill multiple holes up front with his versatility – and at a critical point in their season too.

Edinson Cavani to Arsenal

Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud, Edinson Cavani and Mesut Ozil? Forget the table and just GIVE the Gunners the Premier League trophy.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Chelsea

Any Premier League season starring Jose Mourinho, Diego Costa and Zlatan in the same locker room would be more entertaining than The Three Stooges – and probably contain twice as much slapstick comedy.

Angel Di Maria to Manchester City

There’s probably no chance PSG would let go of Di Maria so soon, but the revenge factor might be too great for the Argentine star to pass up if given the chance to stick it to Louis van Gaal after nearly tanking his career at Man United.
