1.  Michy Batshuayi fine where he is

Marseille starlet Michy Batshuayi told Telefoot that he is fine playing in France and has no interest in making a move to the Premier League or anywhere else despite interest from Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle United.

Batshuayi has scored eight goals in 13 Ligue 1 appearances so far this season.

2. £20m deal in the works for Bundesliga superstar

Chelsea have been in hot pursuit of Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the Sun. With a reported £20m price tag, the Blues could have the perfect replacement for the struggling Diego Costa & Radamel Falco.

The Gabon superstar has scored 19 times for the Bundesliga giants since August, including four goals in just three Europe League appearances.

3. Four stars on the chopping block

A quartet of superstars who led Chelsea to the Premier League and League Cup titles last year are poised to get axed in the very near future.

According to the Daily Star, Diego Costa, Eden Hazard, Oscar and Nemanja Matic all have their contracts up for grabs by the club in order to fund a transfer shopping spree.

The star group of Blues players – collectively worth a king’s ransom this time last year – have all struggled this season as Chelsea have toiled in the bottom half of the table for months.

4. Kenedy promoted for Champions League

After impressing coaches over the last few weeks, the Brazilian teen has reportedly been traveling with the team to Israel for Chelsea’s impending Champions League match against Maccabi Tel-Aviv [per The Sport Review].

Kenedy played a full ninety minutes for Chelsea in their 1-0 win over Norwich City and has made four total appearances for the Blues in the Premier League this season.

Chelsea defeated the Israeli club 4-0 at Stamford Bridge in the first matchday of the tournament.

5. Total recall?

Reading exec Samrit Thanakanchanasut told Goal.com that Chelsea have asked to recall 23-year-old defender Michael Hector.

After a breakout season with Reading in the Championship division last year, Chelsea landed Hector’s contract in September but decided to loan him back to his former club.

With numerous offers for John Stones rejected, Chelsea have searched far and wide for a young talent to replace the struggling John Terry and Branislav Ivanovic.
