Liverpool to battle PSG for highly-rated Ligue 1 winger Sofiane Boufal

Liverpool are said to be ready to go up against both Paris Saint Germain and Tottenham for the signature of talented Lille forward Sofiane Boufal, according to the Daily Mirror.

Scouts from both Premier League sides have been tracking the 22-year-old this season, and so far have been impressed with what they’ve seen.

Boufal had recently stated his desire to play for a club capable of offering him Champions League football, but also went on to insist that he is happy in northern France for the time being.

However, The Mirror cites a report in France Football that claims the player has fallen out with a number of his teammates, and may therefore be ready to make a move during the January transfer window.

Boufal only joined Lille from fellow Ligue 1 side Angers in January this year, and has gone on to make a total of 26 appearances, scoring seven goals.
