Free Beer! Premier League giants offering cold ones to fans at final home game of 2015

The biggest surprise of the 2015-16 Premier League season – even beyond Chelsea’s incomprehensible struggles – has been Leicester City, who have not lost since Match Day seven and are now in sole possession of first place on the table heading into Christmas. The incredible support of the Leicester City fans has not gone unnoticed by the club ownership, King Power International, who plan to reward the fans with a giveaway everyone (over 18) can enjoy.

According to the Metro, Leicester City plan to offer fans a free beer when Manchester City come to visit on December 29th, the final home match at King Power Stadium of 2015. Man City are currently third in the Premier League, and a Leicester City win would give them significant breathing room over every other club besides second-place Arsenal.

Per King Power International Vice Chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha, the free beer will be given to 30,000 fans with the ownership footing the bill in thanks for the fan support throughout their stretch in the relegation zone during the 2014-15 season.

‘2015 has been a wonderful year for our football club but we know that none of this would be possible without the incredible support of our fans.

‘They continue to inspire our players to greater things on the pitch and for that we want to say thank you. Their loyalty and belief has helped to make 2015 a special year and we’re delighted that our friends at Singha Corporation will be helping us to give something back.

‘We know it will be a wonderful atmosphere inside King Power Stadium for our final fixture of the year and I hope all 30,000 of you enjoy raising a glass with us as we head into 2016 together.’

The sensational scoring duo of Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez has given Leicester City the highest scoring club in the Premier League, with the two players each having double-digit goals through the first 17 matches.
