10. Hatem Ben Arfa – Nice

He may have been too inconsistent at Newcastle and Hull, but he’s rediscovered his form on the French Riviera this season and could prove to be a worthy gamble for a club in need of a bit of magic.

9. Michael Carrick – Manchester United

He’s no spring chicken anymore, and his season has been blighted by injury, but he is still more than capable of doing a job for someone at the top level.

8. Tomas Rosicky – Arsenal

Rosicky is in a similar position to Carrick, but there will surely be a club somewhere that will give him one final hurrah.

7. Samir Handanovic – Inter Milan

The Slovenian international has been a tremendous servant for Inter, and many have wondered why they have allowed him to run his deal this far down. Bags of Champions League and international experience, he would be a steal for any club.

6. John Terry – Chelsea

He may not have enjoyed his best season in a blue shirt, but he comes with a pedigree that doesn’t come along all too often. However, would he play for another English side, or will he head Stateside?

5. Sofiane Feghouli – Valencia

The flying winger has been a crucial cog in Valencia’s machine in recent years, but he has turned down the opportunity to remain with the club beyond the end of the season.

4. Branislav Ivanovic – Chelsea

Another player that isn’t having his best season at Stamford Bridge, but even at 31 he would prove to be a fantastic signing on a free transfer.

3. Ever Banega – Valencia

The Argentine has often been compared to Andrea Pirlo and has been close to heading to the Premier League in the past. Now could be the time he finally makes the move.

2. Charlie Austin – QPR

Nobody wanted to shell out the £18m for his signature over the summer, but there will likely be a big queue for his signature this time around.

1. Zlatan Ibrahimovic – PSG

He may be 34 now, but he’s as influential as ever and will have his pick of clubs when he decides to move on.
