A tip to all you wannabe WAGs out there – don’t follow the crowd and chase footballers. Darts is where it’s really at.
Why is darts perfect for WAGs? For one, you can get absolutely smashed while watching your bloke in action and nobody will be the slightest bit judgmental.
And, let’s face it, a warm indoor venue like the Wolverhampton Civic Hall – let alone Alexandra Palace (yes an actual PALACE!) – must be a much more comfortable habitat than the cold, wet stands of Stoke City’s Britannia Stadium for example.
Furthermore, you can really get involved in the action. Imagine if Stoke playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri had been able to stare directly into the eyes of his girlfriend after scoring ‘that goal’ against Everton…
She would have melted, right! Gary Anderson’s girlfriend Rachel Ford seemed to do just that when her man went out on 170 in the final set of his 7-5 win over Adrian Lewis in the PDC World Championship final on Sunday night.
We don’t want to be too smutty, but there was much more in that look than just love. That’s real passion, folks!
When I grow up, I wanna be a darts WAG! Then I’ll have nice things.
