John Terry injured: Chelsea star joins Kurt Zouma on sidelines ahead of Champions League bout

Not two weeks after losing starting centre-back Kurt Zouma for the rest of the year and possibly beyond, Chelsea captain John Terry is now going to be watching his team take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League from the comfort of a rehab room.

According to the Telegraph, Terry has been ruled out of the Champions League match in France due to a hamstring problem. The Chelsea captain left the 5-1 win over Newcastle United at the 38′ mark and reportedly failed a fitness test with the club at Cobham this morning.

Terry has already announced that he intends to leave Chelsea at the end of the season after not being offered a new contract to stay at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are considered underdogs against the reigning Ligue 1 title holders ahead of their match. The Telegraph noted that Branislav Ivanovic is expected to be moved inside to play alongside Gary Cahill with Baba Rahman taking over Ivanovic’s role at right-back.
