Liverpool scout record-setting Dutch defender worth £11m

Jetro Willems is one of the best young stars in Dutch football. Between his consistency at PSV Eindhoven and his impressive resume with the Oranje, the 21-year-old defender is a talented starlet that any major club would be intrigued by. Liverpool appear to be the first superpower ready to make a move for Willems and are getting ready for a move.

According to the Daily Express [per FOX Sports], Liverpool are currently scouting the PSV Eindhoven defender and could make an £11 million transfer move for him if he becomes available. Willems has already made over 150 appearances for the Eredivisie giants, scoring nine goals and notching over 25 assists in that span.

Willems plays left back and has already made 16 caps for the Netherlands. He set a record by becoming both the youngest player ever at UEFA Euro in 2012 and the youngest Dutch male to play European football.

Unfortunately, the Oranje were eliminated from Euro 2016 after losing in the qualifiers.
