West Ham star named Man of the Match after first assist in new stadium

West Ham won their first Premier League game at the Olympic stadium with a 1-0 victory over Bournemouth on Sunday.

Michail Antonio scored the first ever goal in the Hammers new home ground and was setup by summer signing Gokhan Tore who became the first player to provide an assist – in his first home game and first league start of the season.

West Ham asked fans who their man of the match was after the game on the official club Twitter account and Tore ended up in first place out of the four choices which included Michail Antonio, Adrian, Sam Byram and Tore.

Tore helped break the deadlock with a moment of brilliance on 85 minutes displaying an impressive dribbling ability before finding Antonio with an accurate cross.

The 24-year-old winger made more key passes than any other player over the 90 minutes (4), made three successful dribbles and pulled off seven crosses including the one that resulted in the goal according to Whoscored.
