For many months there has been a huge building site next to Tottenham Hotspur’s White Hart Lane.
And, although that is still very much the case, at least the plot of land when the new Tottenham ground is being built is finally starting to look a construction site, rather than simply an area of mass destruction.
That’s because, now that everything has been flattened and foundations laid, workers have been able to fit the base blocks of some of the stands. The new Tottenham ground, which is set to open at the start of the 2018-19 season, is finally starting to look like a football stadium!
