Liverpool have been strongly linked with the signing of Agustin Davila, who has apparently flown into the city to finalise his transfer.
The striker comes from Deportivo Penarol in Uruguay, where he is a key attacking force. This scouting video of him on Youtube shows the little known player’s best characteristics.
The player has a a strong left foot, and passes well both long and short on it. He can clearly take a decent set piece too. He’s a good dribbler and looks mobile even on the poor Uruguayan surfaces.
His left foot is a weapon from outside the box, but he also drops deep to provide chances for his teammates. His good first touch creates a lot of space for him to get shots away.
Chances are his new club will loan him out before letting him join the first team. He’s still only 17 but looks like he is a real prospect for the Reds.
