Jermaine Defoe scored his 150th Premier League goal today during Sunderland’s victory over Hull City.

He becomes only the eighth player ever the reach that tally, an incredible feat for a natural-born goal-scorer.

Defoe’s 150 goals have been made up of 18 for West Ham, 91 for Tottenham during two separate spells at the club, 15 for Portsmouth and 26 for current club Sunderland.

An incredible feat, and it’s testament to how deadly he has been in front of goal over the years. At 34-years-old, Defoe appears to have plenty left in the tank. It’s very much 150 not out.

He was pictured after the game by the official Sunderland Twitter account holding a shirt with the number 150 on the back.
