Arsenal visit Everton this evening as they look to keep pace with Premier League leaders Chelsea. Arsene Wenger’s side can go top with a victory tonight.
Everton are looking to prevent the gulf between themselves and the European qualification places growing, as they currently sit seven points off Tottenham in fifth. Ronald Koeman’s side have won just one of their last ten Premier League games, but face a stern test tonight as they look to stop that record worsening.
There are no fresh injury concerns for Everton, but Arsenal will be without centre-back Shkodran Mustafi after he suffered a hamstring injury during their victory over Stoke at the weekend. Aaron Ramsey also remains sidelined.
The BBC have provided some interesting stats ahead of kick-off. Everton have only beaten Arsenal once in their last 18 meetings, and that was in 2014. They also note that Arsenal have beaten Everton more times than any Premier League side, a win tonight would be their 30th.
