Manchester United transfer boost as €100million target lays down big demand to Barcelona

Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann may have handed Manchester United a significant transfer boost with his big demands to fellow suitors Barcelona.

The France international is in demand ahead of next summer, when Diario Gol claim he’ll be available for a buy-out clause fee of €100million, though he wants to ensure he plays as often as his next club.

This does not look guaranteed at Barcelona due to the presence of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Ousmane Dembele, giving the Catalans a potential headache in attack.

ESPN have claimed United are weighing up a new bid for Griezmann next summer, so this could be another boost in their efforts to make the deal happen.

New attacking players certainly seem to be on the agenda for the Red Devils, who have struggled after becoming somewhat overly reliant on Romelu Lukaku for goals.

Results have worsened for Jose Mourinho’s side during the Belgian’s seven-game goal drought for his club, so it’s little surprise to see the Sun link United with a big bid for Tottenham’s Harry Kane as another option up front.
