Chelsea loanee Fankaty Dabo will be making Vitesse seriously doubt their agreement with the Blues after this quite ridiculous own goal last night against Groningen.
The 22-year-old defender has never made a competitive appearance for Chelsea, and he’s done himself no favours with this absolute shocker in the Eredivisie.
Despite a bit of closing down from the opposition winger, Dabo totally lost his head as his poor touch gave him a bobbling ball to deal with it, before he absolutely smashed it back towards his own penalty area.
Incredibly, the ball ended up looping in over his own goalkeeper to make it 1-1, with Vitesse surrendering their lead and eventually going on to lose the game 4-2.

Chelsea have loaned a number of players to Vitesse over the years, with the two clubs having a special agreement over players.
Still, this kind of bizarre error was not part of the deal – and Vitesse will surely be seeking an explanation.
Dabo has also spent time on loan at Swindon Town, but he may struggle to attract suitors again after this horror-show.
