Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly been in contact with the representatives of Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez about a possible January transfer to the Ligue 1 club.
The Chile international is set to be out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season and would most likely leave for a cut-price fee this winter.
According to the Daily Mirror, Arsenal seem tempted to cash in on Sanchez now due to fears that they’ll also lose fellow contract rebel Mesut Ozil on a free next summer.
The Mirror claim Manchester City have been favourites to snap up Sanchez, but Arsenal would dearly love to avoid losing their star player to a major Premier League title rival.

The 28-year-old would be another excellent addition to Pep Guardiola’s all-conquering side, who have an eight-point lead at the top of the Premier League already this season.
Arsenal won’t want to see Sanchez linking up with the likes of Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne over at the Etihad Stadium, so offloading him to PSG would be by far the more desirable outcome here.
Still, it remains to be seen how the French giants would fit the former Barcelona man in, having already signed Neymar and Kylian Mbappe in attack this season.
