Bayer Leverkusen are seemingly not too impressed with all the hype surrounding the England national team at the moment.

In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last few weeks, England have worked out they’re good at football again and will play in their first World Cup semi-final for 28 years tomorrow night.

This has propelled the classic hit ‘Three Lions’ by Baddiel & Skinner & The Lightning Seeds to number one in the UK charts and got everyone around the country proclaiming that football is, in fact, coming home.

Germany, lest we forget, failed miserably in their attempt at defending the trophy they won in 2014, crashing out of the World Cup at the group stage after shock defeats to Mexico and South Korea.

So it’s little surprise perhaps that England’s success has rubbed some in Germany up the wrong way, with Leverkusen declaring ‘It’s coming home’ as the most overused term of 2018 so far.

Better get used to it guys, you’re going to be hearing it a *lot* more!
