Juventus eyeing up transfer of Man United superstar should midfield maestro leave club this summer

Juventus are said to be eyeing up a move for Man United and former star Paul Pogba this summer should Bosnian international Miralem Pjanic end up leaving the club.

This is as per the Sun, who are re-reporting and translating from Italian news outlet Tuttosport, who are saying that the Old Lady will talk to the Red Devils about signing the Frenchman despite them buying Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, and that Pjanic has been linked with a move to Man City and Chelsea.

The media outlet are stating further that Jose Mourinho’s side aren’t going to be letting the World Cup finalist depart Old Trafford for a cheap sum this summer, so it seems as if Juventus will have to splash out if they are to secure a return to the club for the midfielder.

If Pjanic leaves, Juventus are said to be eyeing up a return to the club for Paul Pogba

Pjanic has been one of Serie A’s best midfielders since his move from Roma a few summers ago, so seeing him leave would be a big blow for the Italian giants, even if they bag a return to Turin for Pogba.

The Frenchman excelled during his time with the Old Lady, as he helped the club win numerous Serie A titles as well as reach the 2015 Champions League final.

The French international has been somewhat underperforming for United since his move in 2016, with the player failing to consistently perform for the Mourinho’s side despite possessing the quality to do so.

If United to lose Pogba to Juventus, it’ll definitely be interesting to see who the club turn to to replace the midfielder this summer.
